December 31, 2012, a two-year-old Cape Town boy is reported missing by his mother. She joins the massive police search for her child. But after the investigation begins, the story takes a turn, and she confesses to her son's murder. This film tries to explain how a mother's natural instinct became twisted into a passion for hatred and led to perhaps the most awful crime of all - killing her own child.
