Galahad: The Height of the Falklands War
On the 8th June 1982, at the height of the Falklands War, 53 men lost their lives, and hundreds were injured in Argentine air attacks on British ships Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram. 32 of those men were Welsh Guards - some of them no more than boys. For the British military, this was the largest number of fatalities and casualties in a single incident since World War II. Many have said that the Welsh Guards somehow brought disaster upon themselves. Now, 30 years on, using never seen before archive, CGI, and reconstruction, we can tell the complete story of the events that led up to this incident.
