WWII in the Pacific
This three part series tells the story of the War in the Pacific. At sea, this was a modern war fought by aircraft carriers. Battles were fought by dog-fighters and bombers roaming miles from their floating landing strips. The land war saw the development of immensely sophisticated forms of amphibious warfare. Finally, it was the war that was ultimately won by resorting to nuclear weapons.
