Eugenics: Science's Greatest Scandal
Eugenics, tainted by its dark history, is often associated with forced sterilization, Nazi atrocities, and attempts to engineer a "better" human race. It devalued the lives of the disabled, lower classes, and nonwhite populations, encourading the belief that the lives of the disabled, the lower classes, the nonwhite were somehow worthless. In the 21st century, eugenics takes on new forms, presenting a surprising and troubling narrative.
